How long have you been doing this?
I was gifted my first Nikon camera in 5th grade and have been shooting ever since. Grace.Anne.Pics has been in business for seven years, and many more to come!
Where are you located?
Depends on the time of year! I go to school at the University of Arizona and am home in Minnesota for the summers:)
Why do I have to give credit online?
As a photographer, this is one of the main ways I can get my name and work out there. It is always appreciated and very respectful to give an artist credit when you are sharing their work. When sharing online (Facebook or Instagram), you must tag my account AND/OR give credit in the caption. Something like "photo creds: @grace.anne.pics" should work!!
What exactly am I paying for when I book with you?
You are paying for many different things! One of the biggest things is the right to the images! This means that you don't need to pay for the photos once I deliver them via a gallery on this site they are all yours:) You also are paying for my undivided attention and time, 7 years of experience as a professional photographer and your personal hypeman, anndddd lastly all of my awesome gear (camera body, lens, hard drives, insurance, etc)!!
THE SESSION
Can I bring someone to our session?
Yes!!!! I am a huggeee believer in “the more, the merrier" It is always a treat when mom or dad, a sibling, or your bestie decides to come along. Plus, you can put them to work;) Holding your phone, watching your hair in the wind, and getting you to laugh — extra friends are a huge bonus to getting the shots justttt right!
Can I bring my dog?
Yes, again!!! Some of my favorite sessions have been the ones where the fury friends are included! They make for the best candid and silly photos:) Just remember to bring someone along to watch and hold them between shots and to let me know before our shoot.
What should I wear to the shoot?
I get this question a lot! So much so that I have developed an online guide that you have access to once booking with me, how convenient right?!
Help!! I’m so awkward in front of the camera, I don’t know how to pose.
I hear this all the time!!! Through my years of practice behind the camera, I know all the poses & motions to go through, and I will walk you right through all of them, doing them right alongside you;) And you know what, my clients are absolute PROS by the end of our shoot. It’s always the best feeling when I see your reaction as I flip my camera showing you what we just captured. “That’s me?!? I look so good!” I’ve heard it a dozen of times ;))
I’m freaking out... I woke up with a pimple the morning of our shoot!
No worries!!!! Not only do I get the pleasure of shooting your photos, but I also get to go through and edit them. If you are wanting small retouches, consider it done!! I want you to look AND feel your best.
Do you offer sessions with more outfits?
Of course! I am a flexible gal;) My prices listed are the minimums of what I shoot, but there are always add-ons allowed! Whether that is bringing your sister to your senior session and getting some sibling pics or adding an extra outfit, let’s make it happen!!! All you have to do is let me know beforehand and we can discuss the best option for you.
PHOTOS & PAYMENT
Do we get all of the photos or do we have to buy them separately?
You get all of them!!! Part of what you are paying for is the rights to the images - which means they are all yours once I send you the gallery. You have the option to buy prints through my site but it option (though recommended).
What is the wait time to get the final edited gallery of photos?
It totally depends on the time of year. I am always transparent with my clients and will let you know at the shoot what the wait time is looking like. It typically ranges from 2-4 weeks though:)
When is payment due?
The down payment is due upon booking and the rest of the payment is due the day of the shoot!
